 Cardio is something that keeps us toned and fatless. It also helps in increasing our metabolism and keeps our heart healthy. But choosing the right cardio workout is difficult. We have to keep in mind that every cardio workout is not for us. In fact, each and every workout is designed for a certain body type and for a certain target.

That's why today I am going to tell you about some of the most effective cardio workouts that everybody can perform in his/her gym and that will surely produce some wonderful results.

First, we have to keep in mind that why we are performing our cardio. 

If we are performing for body fat loss, then we have to perform our cardio before our strength training else,

If we are performing for endurance, then it is better to perform cardio after completing our strength training.

So, the first workout will be:

1. Treadmill- Running on a Treadmill is the most common Cardio workout that everybody performs in the Gym.  But I have seen that many people just perform it without knowing the significance of running on a Treadmill. We basically walk or run on a treadmill in order to burn our overall body fat and to make ourselves toned. If you have a target of fat burning, then only running on a treadmill will be effective for you. Otherwise, if you are gaining muscles and you do not have enough fat to burn then running on a treadmill will cause you muscle loss.

For those who want to reduce body fat, I would suggest you run at least 10 minutes per day with a speed of 10-12. You may incline the treadmill if you want to make it a bit difficult.


2. Cross-Trainer- This is an elliptical trainer and it basically focuses on fat burning and heart pumping. This workout is designed to reduce fat as well as increase stamina. If you are someone who wants to build muscles and have very little fat in his/her body then Cross-Trainer is not for you. Although it increases your stamina at the same time decreases your body fat also. In absence of fat, it will affect your muscles thereby reducing a significant amount of muscles from your body. 
For those who are performing it, try to perform at least 15 minutes with 15-16 resistance for better results.

3. Resistance Bike- This thing is very beneficial for those who want to develop their leg muscles. Usually, this workout is performed in order to develop endurance. But this thing is also super beneficial for building monstrous legs. You have to keep in mind that this workout is not that beneficial for fat burning as it is not engaging with your entire body. Yes but if you want to lose some fat from your lower body then it will surely help you in that part. Apart from these, I would personally recommend this workout to those who want to develop their leg muscles. You can perform this workout right after completing your leg day. Trust me it would be super helpful to you.

4. Skipping- You want to increase your stamina level to the max, then this simple yet super powerful workout is for you. Skipping is a very simple workout to perform. Many of us have even performed it when we were kids. But at that time we didn't realize that this is a very effective cardio workout. This workout can do everything starting from fat burning to stamina boosting. Doesn't matter what your fitness goal is, Skipping will surely help in achieving that. I would personally suggest everyone perform skipping in the morning as much as they can. Just perform it for 1 month and you will be able to see the change within yourself. Always remember to choose the right skipping rope.


5. Boxing- Many of you will think now that why I am including this thing in Cardio. This is a completely different sport. Yes, I agree that it is a completely different sport but this workout is used for Cardio purposes as well. Boxing is very similar to skipping. This workout is also very beneficial for increasing your muscle endurance and muscle strength. Even if you have a goal of body fat loss, Boxing will help you in that case also. Boxing can also be a good sport also. I would suggest everyone perform Boxing before starting their workout. You have to keep in mind the postures of Boxing otherwise you may hurt yourself.
